Self-motivated professional artist with expertise in all clay forming techniques, including Stoneware, Raku and Earthenware Porcelain. Extensive and varied background in working with clay and mixed mediums including training, discovery, experimentation, technical skill, and creative expression.

Background in Fine China Research and Development, learned from hands on experience with some of the finest ceramic minds in the industry. Knowledge base grew from a combination of being around brilliant ceramic people, having great problem solving tasks and a genuine desire to explore.

An award winning artist and sculptor demonstrating, both, technical and creative skill. Works have been collected and exhibited across the Continental United States and traveled across the sea to Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and France. Sculptural clay creations communicate when finished and each piece in turn expresses volumes about the spirit of the creator.

Graphic arts background includes 15 years of Photoshop and 10 years of Dreamweaver Web site building software. Professional designs have included event parties, Web pages, CD jackets, tee-shirts, posters, cards, business logos etc.

Belief that teaching is a means of communication; a shared experience of questions and answers. Communicates enthusiasm of the elegant complexity of everything ceramic. Conveys creative understanding when teaching foundations of clay to beginners and advanced students.
